Dear New Brunswick PTLFC member,
As we shared yesterday, a recent investigation by NorthJersey.com has uncovered disturbing allegations of what appears to be a massive financial scandal at Rutgers. The deterioration of Rutgers’ financial standing inevitably impacts our working conditions and our students’ learning conditions.
Now is the time to unite as educators around a common vision for Rutgers University that puts education and working conditions first.
Our current contract will expire in June 2022, and we’re gearing up to decide our key demands for our new contract. Join your colleagues on Wednesday, September 22, 5pm to make your voice heard!
At the meeting, PTLFC board members will give an overview of the relationship between Rutgers University and our union over the past year and break down the strengths and shortcomings of our current contract. We will have an open discussion about what our top priorities should be moving forward, and then hear from our union committee chairs about the different ways to get involved as we kick off the campaign!
