Bargaining Update #14
Monday’s bargaining session was focused on Evaluations (Article 12) and Appointments (Article 6). This was a small, combined session (FT/Grad/Postdoc and PTLs).

We are inches away from a TA (tentative agreement) on Article 11. The administration made several moves in the right direction. (See details below.) We are also close to reaching agreement on Article 8, although a few sticking points remain.

At our large bargaining session on Wednesday, we discussed counter proposals on Article 6 (Appointments), 8 (Personnel Files), and 11 (Professional Development).

We had a 2-hour bargaining session on Friday morning, Jan. 27 concerning the counter proposal to our proposed Article 4 on “Fractional Appointments.”

At Friday’s bargaining session, negotiations focused on Article 5 (Grievance Procedure) and Article 11 (Professional Development Fund).
